As read by Master Of Ceremonies: Brian Oakes
It is really difficult to put into words the kinds of tireless and dedicated effort this Sea Hawker has put in this past year…..
So I wont……
Instead I will read a letter that was received from someone who was touched by the efforts of this Sea Hawker!

To who it may concern…
My name is Brett W. Nagy. I'm a current/participating and inaugural member of the Sea Hawkers Military Chapter headed by Traci Williams. My reason for emailing you is…I am currently deployed to Al Udeid AB Qatar, where I work as a Jet Fuels Operations Superintendent and I just received an email telling me the Seahawk Cheerleaders and three players are headed this way next week to perform for us.
I also wanted to give my thanks to the board members who approved our trial chapter status back in Oct '03 with the help of a great founding president, Traci Williams. I've never met Traci before, may never meet her, but I feel like I know her. She's in constant contact with all17 founding and new members. We receive game updates on Mondays, most with pictures of the ongoings at the stadium, and information updates throughout the football weeks. I've received autographed photos, GameDay programs and a very nice "Military Appreciation" coin from her thru her hard efforts to make us feel a part of the big Seahawk picture! And she's done that.
The desert can be a desolate place…but she keeps us involved and keeps our morale up. Please give her a nice word the next time you talk or see her and tell her we appreciate her hard work. She hears it a lot from us, but another good word from any of the Sea Hawker Board members would show us her work is appreciated!
I appreciate your time, look forward to participating however I can in helping out the Sea Hawkers organization, look forward to the Seahawks visit next week and my safe return home to Altus AFB, OK.
Sincerely…
Brett W. Nagy, MSgt, USAF |

I remember the first time I met Traci Williams, was on my very first trip out to Seattle right after 9-11 as she was part of that military group that I had met at Husky Stadium, and I really admire all the work and effort she has put forth in giving so much of her time to the brave men and women who defend this country and also are Seahawks fans.
