Empower Field At Mile High Print, Artist Drawn Football Stadium, Denver Broncos Football

Empower Field at Mile High Print, Denver Broncos Wall Art, Football Stadium Art

Most teams put the logo on a sign. Denver put a horse on the scoreboard and left him there for fifty years. Empower Field at Mile High wall art, drawn from a raised corner with Bucky standing over the south end zone and a nod to Barrel Man down at plaza level. You have done the salute in a snowstorm.

Relive Those Memorable Denver Broncos Moments At Empower Field At Mile High

In Denver, football has given us everything—walk-off joy, tough endings, and memories that stick. I created this Empower Field At Mile High wall art as a personal tribute to the Denver Broncos moments and the place where we cheer and sometimes cry. Every line and color nods to moments that made Denver believe. Whether in your home, office or fan cave, let it pull you back to your favorite Denver Broncos memories.

Empower Field at Mile High Print, Denver Broncos Wall Art, Football Stadium Art

Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, Colorado. The football home of the Denver Broncos.

This Empower Field at Mile High print is drawn from above, the whole bowl tilted away, Broncos in both end zones and the horse head picked out in the seats of the upper deck.

That name is not a nickname. This stadium sits at exactly five thousand two hundred and eighty feet above sea level. One mile, on the nose. And a hundred and sixty one feet over the south end zone, there is a horse. Bucky has stood over Broncos football since 1975, cast from the same mold somebody used to make a statue of Roy Rogers’ horse, and when the old stadium came down the fans refused to leave him in it. The lower left carries the exterior of Empower Field with Bucky up on the board, and down at plaza level, if you know where to look, a nod to Barrel Man.

Every Empower Field at Mile High print in the architecture football stadium series is marked in the lower right with the venue, the city and the state: Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, Colorado. Available as a fine art print or a canvas wrap.

Created by Brian D. Oakes, who has spent years drawing the stadiums where the person next to you is a stranger until the second the ball crosses the goal line. Denver Broncos wall art for anyone who has stood in that building, and a gift for anyone still waiting to.

Learn more about artist Brian D. Oakes

I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and moved to my dream city of Seattle, Washington, in 2022. My passion for architecture started in childhood, inspired by icons like the Space Needle, Chrysler Building, and Madison Square Garden. Merging my love for sports and design, I create art that captures not just the structure of a building or stadium but the energy, history, and memories it holds.

How do you create your artwork?

Each piece is crafted using a mixed-media process that combines digital sketching, watercolor painting, and architectural blueprint techniques. I work on a 28″ professional designer’s digital drawing screen with a variety of digital pencils, allowing for fine details that bring each building to life.

What’s the difference between a fine art print and a canvas wrap?

Fine art prints are flat, archival-quality giclée prints on heavyweight paper that require framing (not included). Canvas wraps are printed on durable canvas, stretched over a 1.5″ wooden frame, back-sealed with black foam core, and arrive with pre-installed hardware ready to hang.

What sizes are offered?
  • Small Prints
Perfect anywhere — display on shelves, desks, or hung on walls.
    Sizes: 8×8, 10×10, 12×12

  • Large Prints
Make a bold statement in any bedroom, sports room, or fan cave.
    Sizes: 16×16, 20×20, 30×30

  • Canvas Wraps
Make your rivals jealous with a floating canvas that sparks conversation and shows team pride.
    Sizes: 10×10, 12×12, 16×16, 20×20, 30×30
What is your most popular type / size?

The most popular choice among collectors of my work is the 16×16 Canvas Wrap, with the 20×20 size right behind it. I’ve found the 16×16 to be a sweet spot — it makes a great gift, it’s big enough to stand out, but not so large that it takes over a room.

Each piece is printed on canvas and stretched around a sturdy 1.5″ frame, so it arrives ready to hang straight out of the box with no framing needed. I also offer the option to include a personalized message along the bottom edge, which many people love adding as a meaningful touch.

Can I personalize my order?

Yes! All canvas wraps can have a personalized message added to the bottom/under edge of the canvas at no additional cost. I also offer the option to customize my pieces by incorporating a client-provided reference photo into the foreground or onto the jumbotron of their favorite stadium. You can learn more about customizing your stadium print with add on options.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Once you place your order, it’s automatically sent to one of my trusted U.S.-based print partners for production, ensuring a fast and efficient process. Most orders arrive in about a week, though times can vary. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to carrier delays. All pieces are designed, printed, and shipped from within the United States.

The Mile High Stadium print was for a long time college friend that we meet up from Atlanta and Sacramento to Denver every year to see a Bronco game. As we couldn’t make it this year due to COVID, I found your gorgeous and unique artwork and knew it was the perfect gift for his office. Great product, timely communications and was delivered on time ahead of Christmas. Absolutely perfect gift, thank you again!

I purchased several of these prints and gave them as gifts to my sons and nephew. They were thrilled with them. The stadium drawings bring back the wonderful memories of the different games we’ve enjoyed at these places. They all arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I will keep these in mind whenever I might need another special gift. BTW – I got two for myself and they are displayed in my office. Thank you.

We received the print and it’s great! I think my partner will love it for Christmas! I’m even thinking of getting a Ford Field one for my self!

  8. Addie C. Welsh (Verified Customer)

I placed my Christmas order for a print of Empower Field at Mile HIgh for my husband on the 8th of December. I used standard shipping and was delighted when it arrived on the 15th. He absolutely loved it. This is our third print that we have ordered from Brian D. Oakes (We have Citifield and Ball Arena already) and they are without a doubt beautiful pieces of art. I can tell that he has devoted much time and effort into drawing each picture. We have yet to frame the newest print, but without a doubt it will be hanging from our “Sports” wall soon. Thank you so much Brian!
