Lucas Oil Stadium Print, Indianapolis Colts Wall Art, Football Stadium Art

That window wall slides open and Indianapolis is standing right there in the gap. Lucas Oil Stadium wall art, drawn from a raised corner with the banners hanging in two rows and the red brick of the building below. Only Indiana would build a football stadium to look like a basketball gym.

Relive Those Memorable Indianapolis Colts Moments At Lucas Oil Stadium

In Indianapolis, football has given us everything—walk-off joy, tough endings, and memories that stick. I created this Lucas Oil Stadium wall art as a personal tribute to the Indianapolis Colts moments and the place where we cheer and sometimes cry. Every line and color nods to moments that made Indianapolis believe. Whether in your home, office or fan cave, let it pull you back to your favorite Indianapolis Colts memories.

“First Regular Season Game”

Colts lost 29–13 to Bears in Lucas Oil opener.

Lucas Oil Stadium Print, Indianapolis Colts Wall Art, Football Stadium Art

Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana. The football home of the Indianapolis Colts.

This Lucas Oil Stadium print is drawn from a raised view above the end zone with the roof open and the window wall pulled back, Colts in the near end zone and the Indianapolis skyline standing in the gap.

Indianapolis did not want a stadium that looked like anybody else’s. So they built this one out of red brick and Indiana limestone, and shaped it like a high school fieldhouse, because that is what this state actually cares about. Then they cut a window into the north wall, two hundred and forty four feet wide and eighty eight feet tall, and made it open. The lower left carries that brick and the big arched window set into the front of it. The building was designed to frame its own city.

Every Lucas Oil Stadium print in the architecture football stadium series is marked in the lower right with the venue, the city and the state: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana. Available as a fine art print or a canvas wrap.

Created by Brian D. Oakes, who has spent years drawing the stadiums you go to with the people you love and leave having celebrated with people you have never met, the second the ball crosses the goal line. Indianapolis Colts wall art for the fan who has been in that room, and a gift for the one still waiting to go.

Learn more about artist Brian D. Oakes

I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and moved to my dream city of Seattle, Washington, in 2022. My passion for architecture started in childhood, inspired by icons like the Space Needle, Chrysler Building, and Madison Square Garden. Merging my love for sports and design, I create art that captures not just the structure of a building or stadium but the energy, history, and memories it holds.

How do you create your artwork?

Each piece is crafted using a mixed-media process that combines digital sketching, watercolor painting, and architectural blueprint techniques. I work on a 28″ professional designer’s digital drawing screen with a variety of digital pencils, allowing for fine details that bring each building to life.

What’s the difference between a fine art print and a canvas wrap?

Fine art prints are flat, archival-quality giclée prints on heavyweight paper that require framing (not included). Canvas wraps are printed on durable canvas, stretched over a 1.5″ wooden frame, back-sealed with black foam core, and arrive with pre-installed hardware ready to hang.

What sizes are offered?
  • Small Prints
Perfect anywhere — display on shelves, desks, or hung on walls.
    Sizes: 8×8, 10×10, 12×12

  • Large Prints
Make a bold statement in any bedroom, sports room, or fan cave.
    Sizes: 16×16, 20×20, 30×30

  • Canvas Wraps
Make your rivals jealous with a floating canvas that sparks conversation and shows team pride.
    Sizes: 10×10, 12×12, 16×16, 20×20, 30×30
What is your most popular type / size?

The most popular choice among collectors of my work is the 16×16 Canvas Wrap, with the 20×20 size right behind it. I’ve found the 16×16 to be a sweet spot — it makes a great gift, it’s big enough to stand out, but not so large that it takes over a room.

Each piece is printed on canvas and stretched around a sturdy 1.5″ frame, so it arrives ready to hang straight out of the box with no framing needed. I also offer the option to include a personalized message along the bottom edge, which many people love adding as a meaningful touch.

Can I personalize my order?

Yes! All canvas wraps can have a personalized message added to the bottom/under edge of the canvas at no additional cost. I also offer the option to customize my pieces by incorporating a client-provided reference photo into the foreground or onto the jumbotron of their favorite stadium. You can learn more about customizing your stadium print with add on options.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Once you place your order, it’s automatically sent to one of my trusted U.S.-based print partners for production, ensuring a fast and efficient process. Most orders arrive in about a week, though times can vary. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to carrier delays. All pieces are designed, printed, and shipped from within the United States.

I have purchased two of your stadium prints this year, Great American Ball Park & Lucas Oil Stadium. Everything about them is spectacular! The colors, the detail and the finish work with the canvas is well beyond what I expected. I am really proud of them and have told others about them and the quality of your work & have shared your website with them. Thank you so much. If I could only talk you into doing NBA stadiums so I could have one for the Indiana Pacers I would have 3 of them!

  4. Linda Faires (Verified Customer)

I bought your print of Lucas Oil Stadium for my 95-year-old mother. She and I had season tickets to the Indianapolis Colts for 30+ years, and she has a “Colts” room in her house. I know she will love your print and find a special place to hang it.

I love your print too and may have to buy one for myself!

I ordered this Lucas Oil print as an anniversary gift for my husband who is a die-hard Colts fan and he loved it. The shopping experience was very easy, and despite the website saying there would be extra processing time added due to my personalization, my canvas wrap arrived in two days! Such a wonderful shopping experience and I would 10/10 recommend Brian’s prints.

The prints I ordered/received were a terrific Christmas present for my grandson. They are a truly unique style and represent more than pictures. My grandson and I attended Cardinal games and Colt games frequently being from Indianapolis area. And of course we are also Yankee fans. Grandson was a terrific college player with pro ability but back injury ended aspirations. Thank you
