Seeing Mickey Mantle hit a pinch-hit home run at Yankee Stadium is a memory I’ll never forget—it felt like watching a legend cement his place in history right before my eyes. Even though that moment happened in the Bronx, my heart has always been with the Mets. I’ve spent years watching them at Shea Stadium and now at Citi Field, and there’s nothing better than catching a game with my brother John or my grandsons. Baseball has always been enjoyable for me, and one of the biggest highlights in recent years was visiting Fenway Park in 2024 with my grandson Patrick. Sharing that iconic ballpark and a piece of baseball history with him made it a trip I’ll always treasure. I also had a chance to visit my son in Seattle and watch my Mets get swept by the Mariners, but it wasn’t all bad—seeing the legend Humpy the Salmon race around the stadium was a fun moment that added some joy to the trip.
