This Angel Stadium print is drawn from a field view, and out past the left field deck stands the Big A with its halo, two hundred and thirty feet of it, out in the parking lot where it has always been.
That thing used to be inside the ballpark. The Big A went up behind the left field fence in 1966 and held the scoreboard, and when the stadium got enclosed they had to drag two hundred and ten tons of it thirteen hundred feet out to the lot. It took seven hours, a thousand people came to watch, and it never came back. The lower left carries the main entrance of Angel Stadium: the marquee, and under it the bats crossed overhead and the enormous red helmets standing at the doors. Nobody else built an entrance like that.

We put it up pretty high in his room because he’s 7 haha. he loves to look at it every day when he gets home from school. We have season seats and you can almost pick out where we sit.
