STAPLES Center Print, Los Angeles Kings Wall Art, Hockey Arena Art

Los Angeles had a hockey team for twenty one years. Then Gretzky showed up and it became a hockey city. STAPLES Center wall art, drawn from the goalie’s corner with a Kings goal replaying on the jumbotron and the bronze Wayne Gretzky standing outside in downtown Los Angeles. Kings fans remember what he did for this city.

Relive Those Memorable Los Angeles Kings Moments At STAPLES Center

In Los Angeles, hockey has given us everything—walk-off joy, tough endings, and memories that stick. I created this STAPLES Center wall art as a personal tribute to the Los Angeles Kings moments and the place where we cheer and sometimes cry. Every line and color nods to moments that made Los Angeles believe. Whether in your home, office or fan cave, let it pull you back to your favorite Los Angeles Kings memories.

STAPLES Center Print, Los Angeles Kings Wall Art, Hockey Arena Art

STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, California. The hockey home of the Los Angeles Kings.

This STAPLES Center print is drawn from a raised ice view in the goalie’s corner, the jumbotron replaying a Kings goal above the ice.

The rafters carry the retired numbers and the championship banners. Below them, the lower left brings downtown Los Angeles in: the exterior entrance of the STAPLES Center and the bronze statue of the Great One, Wayne Gretzky, standing outside it. Look at the curve of that roof, and the glass across the front. At night the whole building lights from the inside and reads like a lantern on Figueroa. And that room does not get a day off. An NBA team and a WNBA team play on the same floor as the Kings. The ice you are looking at gets covered and uncovered more than any sheet in the league.

Every STAPLES Center print in the architecture hockey arena series is marked in the lower right with the venue, the city and the state: STAPLES Center, Los Angeles, California. Available as a fine art print or a canvas wrap.

Created by Brian D. Oakes, who has spent years drawing the arenas where family and friends go in and strangers get hugged the moment the puck enters the net. Los Angeles Kings wall art for anyone who has been inside, and a gift for anyone who has not made it yet.

My husband and I have so many great memories associated with the LA Kings and attending games. The print with the inclusion of myself, my husband and our friend Hall of Fame announcer Bob Miller at Crypto arena captured all those memories. The canvas is amazing in quality and likeness. Customer service was amazing too, constant communication about the status of the canvas. We are so pleased with the canvas and overall experience, we will be ordering a custom print of Lambeau Field – another venue that has provided us with priceless memorie
