Ebbets Field Print, Brooklyn Dodgers Wall Art, Historic Baseball Stadium Art

This is where Jackie Robinson walked onto the field, and baseball was never the same after. Ebbets Field wall art, drawn from overhead with the main promenade entrance below and the American flag flying above it. Brooklyn has never stopped talking about this place.

Ebbets Field Print, Brooklyn Dodgers Wall Art, Historic Baseball Stadium Art

Ebbets Field, Brooklyn, New York. The historic baseball home of the Brooklyn Dodgers.

This Ebbets Field print is drawn from overhead, the whole ballpark laid out below the way Brooklyn remembers it.

No ballpark in this country holds more history than this one. It is where Jackie Robinson took the field in 1947 and broke the color line for good, and the game has been better for it every day since. The lower left carries the main promenade entrance of Ebbets Field with the American flag flying high above it, the doorway a whole borough walked through. Brooklyn built its identity inside this ballpark, and it has carried it ever since.

Like every piece in the architecture baseball stadium series, this one is marked in the lower right: Ebbets Field, Brooklyn, New York. Choose a fine art print or a canvas wrap.

Created by Brian D. Oakes, who has spent years drawing the ballparks where the person next to you is a stranger until the second the ball clears the wall. Brooklyn Dodgers wall art for the fan who carries this place with them, and a gift for the one who still talks about it.

Learn more about artist Brian D. Oakes

I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and moved to my dream city of Seattle, Washington, in 2022. My passion for architecture started in childhood, inspired by icons like the Space Needle, Chrysler Building, and Madison Square Garden. Merging my love for sports and design, I create art that captures not just the structure of a building or stadium but the energy, history, and memories it holds.

How do you create your artwork?

Each piece is crafted using a mixed-media process that combines digital sketching, watercolor painting, and architectural blueprint techniques. I work on a 28″ professional designer’s digital drawing screen with a variety of digital pencils, allowing for fine details that bring each building to life.

What’s the difference between a fine art print and a canvas wrap?

Fine art prints are flat, archival-quality giclée prints on heavyweight paper that require framing (not included). Canvas wraps are printed on durable canvas, stretched over a 1.5″ wooden frame, back-sealed with black foam core, and arrive with pre-installed hardware ready to hang.

What sizes are offered?
  • Small Prints
Perfect anywhere — display on shelves, desks, or hung on walls.
    Sizes: 8×8, 10×10, 12×12

  • Large Prints
Make a bold statement in any bedroom, sports room, or fan cave.
    Sizes: 16×16, 20×20, 30×30

  • Canvas Wraps
Make your rivals jealous with a floating canvas that sparks conversation and shows team pride.
    Sizes: 10×10, 12×12, 16×16, 20×20, 30×30
What is your most popular type / size?

The most popular choice among collectors of my work is the 16×16 Canvas Wrap, with the 20×20 size right behind it. I’ve found the 16×16 to be a sweet spot — it makes a great gift, it’s big enough to stand out, but not so large that it takes over a room.

Each piece is printed on canvas and stretched around a sturdy 1.5″ frame, so it arrives ready to hang straight out of the box with no framing needed. I also offer the option to include a personalized message along the bottom edge, which many people love adding as a meaningful touch.

Can I personalize my order?

Yes! All canvas wraps can have a personalized message added to the bottom/under edge of the canvas at no additional cost. I also offer the option to customize my pieces by incorporating a client-provided reference photo into the foreground or onto the jumbotron of their favorite stadium. You can learn more about customizing your stadium print with add on options.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Once you place your order, it’s automatically sent to one of my trusted U.S.-based print partners for production, ensuring a fast and efficient process. Most orders arrive in about a week, though times can vary. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to carrier delays. All pieces are designed, printed, and shipped from within the United States.
