Some moments are remembered. Others become part of history.

For more than five decades, New York basketball fans waited for this moment. Fifty-three years after the franchise’s last championship, the Knicks once again stand at the top of the basketball world. Top Of The List, King Of The Hill, A Number One celebrates the return of a championship to New York City and the end of one of the longest title droughts in professional sports.

Inspired by the iconic lyrics from Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York, this artwork captures the pride, confidence, and energy of a city reclaiming its place at the summit. The Empire State Building rises through the center of the composition, illuminated in the colors of New York basketball. Beside its towering spire sits a basketball as full moon shining over the city, symbolizing the championship that finally brought the city back to the top after generations of anticipation.

Created using artist-drawn pencil textures combined with selective color, the piece blends the grit, determination, and character of New York with the excitement of a championship celebration. Long recognized as one of the most iconic landmarks in the world, the Empire State Building serves as a fitting symbol of perseverance and achievement. In this artwork, it stands as a monument to the players, coaches, and fans who never stopped believing that another championship would someday return to New York.

As a lifelong New Yorker now living on the West Coast, this piece is deeply personal. New York is more than a place. It is an identity that stays with you no matter where life takes you. The city helped shape who I am, and this artwork is my tribute to a championship moment that generations of New Yorkers waited a lifetime to witness.

More than a celebration of a title, this piece honors the fans who carried the memories of 1970 and 1973, the generations who spent decades hoping for another championship, and the city that never lost its passion for the game. It captures the emotion of a historic victory and the pride of seeing New York once again become the center of the basketball world.

This commemorative artwork is released in two limited editions created for collectors and lifelong fans. Fifty-three pieces will be available in the black and white version with selective color accents, commemorating the fifty-three years between championships. In addition, ten numbered pieces will be produced in the full color edition. Each fine art print measures 12 inches by 12 inches and serves as a lasting tribute to one of the most memorable moments in New York basketball history.

original, artist drawn stadium prints

as a sports fanatic and architecture enthusiast, I have created each stadium print with fans in mind. Drawing inspiration from the history of each team, every stadium print serves as a love letter to the stadiums we’ve shared treasured memories in.

Ordered this as a birthday present for my dad, the photos on site do not do the quality of this design justice. The detail and colors really pop off the canvas. Brian even customized a personal message for me to add to the bottom for my dad. I put the date of the first game he ever took me.
