This Levi’s Stadium print is drawn from a raised corner above the end zone, the 49ers defense getting set for a goal line stand and the hills sitting low across the horizon behind the far deck.
The lower left carries the exterior of Levi’s Stadium with the shield on the facade, and standing under it, two bronzes: Joe Montana turning to throw, and Dwight Clark going up with both hands. The Catch, held permanently in the air, with “Then” and “Now” hanging on the wall behind them. There is a garden growing on the roof of that building. An actual working one, up on the suite tower, and they cook out of it. Everything about this place is new. And the first thing San Francisco chose to put out front was a play from 1982.
